Presidents of Cuba and Venezuela held a working meeting

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro described as pleasant and productive the meeting held Wednesday with his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Diaz-Canel.

It was a meeting to analyze the struggles of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean, and strengthen the historical and revolutionary ties that unite us, he wrote on his Twitter account.

The lands of (José) Martí and (Simón) Bolívar have always been and will always be united by the great dreams of integration, justice, and humanity, he stressed. The presidents of Cuba and Venezuela met in the state of La Guaira and held a working meeting.

The dignitaries reaffirmed their commitment to defend a world of peace and cooperation in favor of international solidarity.

The bilateral relations of brotherhood between Cuba and Venezuela reaffirm the common interest of promoting and fostering progress in terms of the integration of Latin America and the Caribbean.
