Cuba’s National Ballet’s dancers return home

The dancers of Cuba’s National Ballet (BNC) returned to their country after the Costa Rican audience applauded the virtuosity and mastery of their consecrated and new figures.

After the two performances at the Melico Salazar Theater in San Jose on Sunday, the audience cheered for several minutes for the Cuban dancers who showed their commitment and passion in classical and contemporary pieces.

She also highlighted the presence of President Rodrigo Chaves and First Lady Signe Zeikate at the first performance.

Cuban Ambassador to Costa Rica, Jorge Rodríguez, congratulated Cuban national ballet dancers , saying they are worthy representatives of the school founded by Alicia Alonso.
