Cuba condmens at ICAO the US blockade impacts on IACC

Cuba condemned negative impacts of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba´s Civil Aviation Institute (IACC).
The condemnation was issued by the Cuban delegation to the 41st Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) being held in Montreal.

According to IACC´s released data, Washington’s stubborn policy has caused the end of sales in several markets and hindered IACC´s bank transfers.

Hindering transfers to/from Havana limited IACC´s financial flow, with a negative impact estimated at over $353 million.

The White House, with its hostile blockade against Cuba, cancelled leasing contracts and cargo transportation agreements, closed bank accounts, receiving no services from fuel suppliers at regular destinations, and brought about problems to access to international commercial platforms.
