Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc also congratulated the Cuban head of state on National Rebellion Day (July 26).
The historic date was also remembered by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the head of the National Assembly, who sent messages to their counterparts in the Caribbean nation, Manuel Marrero and Esteban Lazo, respectively.
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, also sent his congratulations.
In a message, he expressed his country’s solidarity with Cuba in its efforts to protect “national independence and sovereignty”.
On the occasion of the National Rebellion Day, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Monday sent a greeting and a message of solidarity to his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Diaz-Canel.
“The course of Cuba’s development supported by the high principles proclaimed by the Cuban Revolution continues to inspire millions of people around the world,” reads the message published by the press service of the Belarusian Presidency.
Lukashenko has reaffirmed his support for Cuba in defending the independence and sovereignty of the state and in efforts against external “pressure and interference”. “Belarus will always be a reliable ally of the Cuban people on this complicated path,” he has emphasized.
