Cuban youngsters to participate in Ibero-American virtual orchestra
Amado Molina has been selected along with 122 young musicians from other countries, who will play under the direction of Mexican maestro Arturo Marquez.
The initiative is part of the IBERORQUESTAS Juveniles program of the Ibero-American Cooperation, dedicated to the artistic and human development of children and young people through musical education and orchestral practice as tools for social integration.
The 22nd Intergovernmental Council of the Ibero-American Youth Program, meeting online on March 31, 2020, given the exceptional situation generated by the health crisis of the COVID-19 and encouraged by the desire to offer a quality cultural product accessible from anywhere in the world, approved the creation of the Ibero-American Virtual Orchestra Common Project.
This project is dedicated to all the people who are having difficulties in these hard times, to whom it will send a hopeful message to the whole world.
