Its organizers have proposed that it could be a space where Cuba can show its products in the field, along with the aim of strengthening exports of goods and services and enhancing business opportunities. The actions will take place at the Fevexpo platform, the first Cuban platform for holding virtual events.
Elizabeth García Cuesta, member of the Organizing Committee and in charge of the event’s program and content commission, explained to the local Radio Rebelde station that this fifth edition will carry out all of its actions virtually.
“It will be a space to connect and at the same time a showcase to update us on everything related to ICT solutions services. It will also serve to learn about the ICT panorama in Cuba, which imposes a challenge to the rest of the doers in society in relation to the role they must play in the digital transformation “.She said.
“Professionals and entrepreneurs from organizations and other forms of management linked to the sector will be able to participate. The advantages present in this edition compared to the previous ones: cost reduction, doors always open and brand positioning”. She concluded.
This year, FELTI has proposed to establish and strengthen work networks for the development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) projects, socializing and recognizing successful experiences in the sector, as well as promoting the insertion of companies of the Cuban computer industry in exportable projects and services.
Since 2013, the date on which the first edition took place, the event has been developed through related working areas. In this 2021, the sights are directed to the digital economy and government, the development of solutions and infrastructure, the security in the use of Information and Communication Technologies, among other topics.
From September 15th to 17th, during the development of FELTI, they will have other modalities such as virtual fairs and business opportunities, where foreign investment projects that are already being worked on and new proposals for other similar actions in the sector will be exhibited.
