It also expresses that health collaborators who are members of the Henry Reeve Contingent, founded by Fidel Castro in 2005, are working in more than 20 countries to confront the new coronavirus pandemic, as they did before in other nations against other serious epidemics and natural disasters, such as Ebola in Africa or the earthquake in Haiti.
Jorge Luis Alfonzo, minister counselor of the Cuban embassy to Italy, and Jorge Delgado, director of the medical cooperation unit of the Cuban health ministry, will participate in the exchange through social media.
Dr. Carlos Ricardo Perez, head of the Cuban medical brigade in the Italian region of Lombardy, Raul Antonio Capote, head of the international editorial staff of the Granma newspaper, as well as Ivan Collini, head of international relations of Patria Socialista and Marco Papacci, secretary of the Circulo de Roma de la ANAIC, will also be attending.
