Therefore, the country has reported 904,000 coronavirus cases since March 11, 2020, and 7,703 deaths, National Director of Epidemiology at the Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, said at his daily press briefing on television.
Some 5,000 people are still in hospitals; there are 26,955 suspected cases; 2,742 people are under epidemiological surveillance; and 20,884 are active cases, the doctor said.
