Fidel Castro writes article on his birthday
Fidel says he would write about his early years, if life allows him, and about what a child should be taught, since lack of education is the greatest harm people can do to children.
He warns humanity is facing great perils, and trusts scientists might have the answer for the survival of man on the planet.
He criticizes US President Obama for not apologizing to the victims of the atomic bombing of the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945, and adds that great powers like Russia and China cannot be subdued with the threat of the use of nuclear weapons against them.
Fidel thanks all the people that have sent him congratulations, shows of respect and presents. He says that actions give him the strength to contribute with ideas to the work of the Cuban communist party and institutions.
