Bolivians living in Cuba condemn attack on Cuban embassy to Washington

In the message issued by the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP by its Spanish acronym), the Bolivians join the voice of demand from different regions of the planet to demand the clarification of the facts and the sanctions imposed by the corresponding legislation.

In this regard, the declaration states that “this cowardly action is not new in a country that shows a total lack of respect towards other nations, especially Cuba, for which reason we urge strict compliance with the obligations related to the protection, security and safeguarding of Cuban diplomats, their families and headquarters, as established by the 1961 Vienna Convention.

It also refers to the fact that this attack against the Cuban diplomatic mission in the US is not an isolated event, but rather a response to “the escalation of hatred and persecution towards a country and a people that are an example of solidarity and altruism, which has deployed its best children in the struggle against COVID 19, because its essence is the defense of human beings and life.

They reiterated their total support and solidarity to the Cuban government and people in the face of these acts of terror, which only show that “Cuba is on the right path and that its Revolution continues to be a beacon of light and hope in this dark time that mankind is living”.
