Cuban coastal resort gets ready for peak tourist season

The Jardines del Rey tourist destination, off the north coast of central Ciego de Avila province, is getting ready to operate during the upcoming peak season, providing excellent services in all activities.

Provincial Ministry of Tourism Delegate Iyolexis Correa pointed out that the hotels and recreational facilities show a renewed image and the staff is prepared to provide high-quality service as required by foreign and national holidaymakers.

The inauguration of the Grand Aston Cayo Paredon hotel is scheduled for November. Featuring 635 rooms  it is the first facility of that islet, run by the Archipelago International tourist group in northern Ciego de Avila.

Also scheduled is the reopening of the Colonial Cayo Coco hotel, which underwent complete restoration, transformation of its image and the design of attractive services.

With a view to improving the quality of gastronomic offers, agreements were signed with a group of micro, small and medium-sized companies, and local development projects to guarantee the supplies of food and other essential resources.
