UNESCO Acknowledges Cuba’s Commitment to Education

He said that currently five million people are studying in different countries and that therefore it is necessary to carry out actions so their degrees can be recognized as equivalent in any nation.

Also, in the presence of Olga Lidia Tapia, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the PCC, Ena Elsa Velázquez, Minister of Education, and more than 150 national and foreign rectors, Qiang Tang stressed that UNESCO will always support Cuba’s works for sustainable human development, slogan of the 10 th Congress.
