Rebeca encouraged students to read the contents of the history textooks with a critical approach. She then discussed on her film and the historical period it is set; the underground struggle against Batista in Santiago de Cuba in the late 1950s.
Bertillón 166 is included i the Secondary School curriculum, and its reading complements both the literary training of the student as well as the learning of the subject History of Cuba.
