Raul Luis Galeano, president of the jury and award Violeta Casals 2014 praised the quality of the papers presented and announced that the winning papers will be published as study materials for Cuban announcers.
At the conference closing Guillermo Pavón Pacheco, vice president of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television, ICRT, recognized the work of professionals of the word and urged greater institutionalization of the profession, also emphasized the social responsibility of announcers as are leaders of opinion.
